A Scottish Arts Council is an Executive Agency of the Scottish Executive and is the leading national organization for the funding, development and promotion of the arts around Scotland. Virtually all of the Council's funding comes from either a Scottish Executive however it besides distributes National Lottery funds received from a United Kingdom Department for Culture, Media and Sport.
A Council funds all a major areas of the arts, & it strives to maintain balance among the several diverse communities of Scotland. Additionally, it funds ethnic groups/events attached by having immigrant communities & minorities inside Scotland. These are too a sponsor of deuce book awards:
